Guest Access

Welcome to our historic home! We're honored to be the current caretakers of this beautiful property and excited to share it with you. The house is thoughtfully divided into two distinct living spaces. You will be staying in the front half of the house, which offers complete privacy. This includes your own entrance, dedicated parking, a fully equipped kitchen, and all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We typically reside in the back half of the house. While we're often on the property, rest assured that your space is entirely private. You'll have full and exclusive access to your side of the house throughout your stay.

Good to know

Through a series of incredible coincidences and a bit of good luck, we found ourselves with the opportunity to purchase this historic farmhouse after it had been abandoned for nearly a decade. Nestled in the rolling hills of Hartland, it felt like the perfect place to raise our children and build a life rooted in everything we love about Vermont—history, community, and the beauty of the changing seasons. From the quiet of winter snowfalls to the vibrant colors of autumn, from summer evenings on the porch to spring mornings in the garden, this place allows us to live the Vermont life we cherish. Whether it’s hiking in the woods, working on the land, or just soaking in the mountain views, we knew this home was where we wanted to put down roots. And now, we love sharing it with others who come to experience a little piece of Vermont for themselves.

Everything was wonderful, from the outreach before we arrived to the moment we left. The property is beautiful, spacious and super clean and the value for the size of the space is unbeatable. You get half of the house with 2 rooms and a kitchen/den. Perfect for a family that wants to make meals, or friends that just want space. Absolutely nothing. Just be aware that rooms and bathrooms are up a set of stairs, so not wheelchair accessible.
